I began carving spoons and cooking utensils in 2005 when I lived in the woods, after walking away from my corporate job. After re-emerging, I worked for a wilderness therapy program where we taught students to make their own spoons. I have continued to make cooking utensils from time to time to satify some basic primitive need for enjoyment of the simple things of this life. Sometimes I sell them, usually I give them as gifts.
