Somewhere in the Chattahoochee National Forest among the North Georgia Mountains runs Lovinggood Creek. Some have fished a portion or two, most are not willing to thread a flyrod through its rhododenron thickets and steep terrain. Some of the hemlocks along this creek are among the largest I have seen.

You’re right, Lovinggood is a rough place to fish, and if you dont go in camoflouged like you were hunting, you wont catch any fish. The trout are as wild as any in America and while not huge fish, they are beautiful and bug finned. Ive fished Lovinggood and the creek it feeds into, Noontootla for about 45 years now having grown up on them both.
